Welcome to BBKern DESIGNS, a residential design firm.

As the principal owner of BBKern DESIGNS, I develop code-approved working drawings for new custom and model residential homes, multi-residential dwellings, additions, remodels, and light commercial projects. I have been a professional designer for nearly 30 years, and I have now collected my best residential plans for on-line purchasing.

I assist clients in all building design stages – planning, education, design, budget, specifications, special services, and consultation.  Serving my 5th consecutive year as President of the AIBD Colorado Society (American Institute of Building Design), and a professional member of AIBD, I am also a member of the CSHBA (Colorado Springs Home Builders Association) and in good standing with the BBB. BBKern DESIGNS is a Limited Liability Company. I carry personal liability insurance.
